Experience the beauty and romance of Tahiti at the new Four Seasons Bora Bora. Crystal waters, pristine stretches of beach lined with palms, and touches of international comfort and luxury make isolation nothing less than splendid. That’s the allure of Bora Bora. This magnificent resort is the perfect setting for a honeymoon couple or a family looking for a relaxing time to reconnect.
Arrival begins at Bora Bora Airport where your Four Seasons staff greet you with warm smiles, chilled towels and O’Tahiti water, then transport you in their custom European motor boats to the resort. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the pool, where attendants are on hand to provide sample smoothies, chilled towels and water spritzes. Our resident Marine Biologist, Oliver Martin, invites you daily to explore our Lagoon Sanctuary and snorkel with him as he feeds our resident fishes. Tonight dine in Arii Moana Restaurant, which features spectacular views of the lagoon and Mount Otemanu.
Discover the Island
Start the morning with sunrise yoga at the Spa, followed by a fascinating 4WD off-road Jeep safari tour on the main island. The island of Bora Bora has only a handful of interior roads, most created by the US military during World War II. From these roads you’ll get the best views of the spectacular lagoon and get a close-up, hands-on view of the giant defense cannons installed during the War of the Pacific in 1943. You’ll see how copra is harvested by farmers and visit an eco-marine fishery while your guide shares stories of Polynesian culture and mythology. Complete your afternoon with shopping for black pearls and local treasures in the quaint village of Vaitape. Tonight a casual dinner in the Sunset Bar….for a colorful end to a perfect day!
Enjoy breakfast at leisure and then visit with our watersports team to get fitted for water-shoes or fins for your use during your stay with us. Explore the various complimentary non-motorized water-sports options at the resort including stand-up paddle boards, windsurf boards, kayaks, outrigger canoes and peddle boats. If you prefer a more accelerated adventure, take a guided jet-ski lagoon excursion including a casual lunch at Matira Beach Restaurant before completing your circle island tour of Bora Bora. Tonight don your pareo or tropical shirt for our Polynesian dinner & show on the beach!
Around the Island
Don’t forget to head into the small local market area where you can shop for local crafts and famous black perils. And of course no trip to Bora Bora or Tahiti would be complete without a meal at famous Bloody Mama’s.
