About Trudy Hamilton

I have over 20 years in the travel and tourism industry with extensive knowledge in both corporate and leisure travel. I  began as a travel agent with Windward International Corporation  in Deerfield Illinois where I became the Manager for Leisure Travel. I also helped coordinate corporate meeting and incentive travel. In 2009 I joined Suburban Travel of Glenview, Illinois as an independent agent working closely with a large corporate account while maintaining my leisure travel business. Suburban merged with Lake Shore Travel where I continually work to exceed  client’s  expectations.  I take pride in providing attention to detail and exceptional personal service. I regularly plan international travel for student groups who go to Europe for further educational development.  I also enjoy helping families plan their vacations, researching and finding unique opportunities for their special interests.
I am a 1990 graduate of Harper College for Travel and Tourism . Prior to my career in travel, I was a registered nurse. I earned my nursing degree from Royal Victoria Hospital of Mc Gill University in Montréal, Quebec. From Canada I moved with my husband and children to upstate New York and relocated to the Chicago area in 1989. My husband and I enjoyed many years sailing on the Great Lakes, The St. Lawrence Seaway, Rideau Canal system, Hawaii and the Caribbean.

I have traveled through out the USA, Canada, Caribbean Islands, England, France, Spain, and Italy.
